Is there a trick to vaping this stuff that I haven't figured out? I squonk the tar out of it and it is so thick that I STILL keep getting dry hits and holy blowtorch that hurts!!! Any suggestions because I seriously love this stuff & I'm determined to figure out the formula to DIY it!!

Not familiar with it but have some tips.

Pull off that drip tip and look inside as you squonk. It must be so thick that it moves up very slowly. Watch it form a puddle before you stop squonking. I like it to cover the coil!

You might also have to give it a little time to soak the wick. If it is that thick it stands to reason that it won't soak in quick.

I only do 100% VG so I am use to having to squonk longer and allowing some time for the wick to really get wet.

I got my Reo and RM2 yesterday. I wrapped, cotton wicked, squonk'd, fired, pulled, nearly died. I burned the wick right off in the coil. Make sure your wick isn't too dense or too thin in the coil. I also gave mine a small tail on each end touching the ceramic so both ends would suck up some juice. That fixed it right up for me. :)

Just play and make sure your wick is getting a good bathing in juice like nerak said.

It's the thickest juice I've ever seen, I'm used to 50/50 and I think it's either 100% vg or pretty darn close!! I will squonk it so hard it comes out the airhole, hot it and still get a dry hit. I've done it 3 times within 8 hours. I'm going to end up with scar tissue in my lungs if I don't get used to it soon!!! lol

Ok :)) So dumb question probably but would distilled water be ok to use in place of OF when making juice too?

No idea what OF is but to much distilled water and your juice would be super runny. I would say no more then 5 drops per 3ml is enough to loosen up most the thick liquids I have had.

What are you trying to vape? What is the pg/vg ratio? What does "OF" mean? Distilled water would not be used in place of anything. Once you have your formula for your juice, if it is too thick, it can be thinned with distilled water.

If you are squonking that much juice then wicking is your problem. It is not soaking up much. I can get several hits after squonking. I use cotton. And make sure there is enough to hold a fair amount of juice without getting too tight in the coil.

It definitely has a tougher time wicking than it usually does.

And make sure the tube in the juice bottle isn't inserted too far.

That's happened to me. I've since cut the end of the tube at 45 angle to prevent it from suctioning onto the bottom of the bottle.

Come to think of it, is there a reason why Rob doesn't cut the tubes at an angle?
