If you plan on using one of these batteries make sure that you use a LI-ion dedicated charger for it, and that the battery has a built in pcb. Cell phones have built in overcharge and discharge circuitry built into them to protect the battery and to prevent explosion from overcharge. The chargers that come with our cell phones are simply voltage and step-down current suppliers. They are not designed to be used with unprotected li-ion batteries.
