hi guys got my vamo v6 today it as an adjustable center pin that you turn with a flat screw driver , its fine with some big tanks but then with smaller 5.10 types it needs to be adjusted outwards then when i switch back to kanger i need to screw it back down , i was just wondering do i need to screw it back down or would tightening the kanger tank up tight push the pin back down ? as i ear some are adjustable floating pins would i do harm to it if i tightened the tank quite tight and if i unscrew all the way dose the screw come all the way out i dont want to mess to much with it as i dont no what im doing and i only had it today lol ,

I took mine and put a small rubber washer that came with one of my Kayfuns around the ridge of the centerpin. Had to trim it to fit but now it has a bit of tension to keep the pin from bottoming out and screwing around when I attach/remove tanks. Works pretty well. Hardly ever have to adjust it. It's like a pseudo-springloaded center pin. ^_^

thanks for the reply so the screw will come all the way out then if i keep turning , and then just get a little rubber washer like an o ring ? and place in the vamo then put screw back in ? thats seems easy enough thanks il try that :) and with my v6 the tanks do fit flush not like with the v5 so would there be any need for me to get one of them convertor 510 air flow rings to protect my threads ? or was they just to make tanks sit flush
