Reading this thread, it looks like people have had issues with the alum and SS versions leaking. Guess I'll stick to the one you posted which I'm assuming is made out of Delrin? Any drawback to that?

One last question and I'll try not to bug you anymore - do I need any type of adapter for it to fit my Riva?
By battery cover, do you mean the cone that goes over the carto? The only drawback I see is that the slotted cartos are a bit pricey but since you said they last a long time in these tanks, that should make up for the price.
Buy your own cartos and slot them with a dremel...that's the cheapest way to do it. As for the SS tank, I haven't had any problems with it but it will make your PV heavier. I own 22 of their tanks and love them.
Why so many tanks if you don't mind me asking? I'm not much of a DIYer so I'll probably stick to the pre-slotted cartos.
Hairball - I've been looking for an excuse to buy a Dremel anyways, so this would give me a good excuse to try it. But I'm still new to tanks, only having had 1 storm tank till now. How easy/hard is it to re-seat a new carto in the tank-o-matic to assure it seals correctly to minimize leaks? I think it would be great to have 1 style of tank and just pop in a new carto when you need one.
Out of curiosity, what kind of PV are you using yours on? I just got a 5v mod and have yet to try a tank with it. Wondering what everyone is putting these on.

Thats the one I have . It will be good size for using it on your riva. Get it with LR carto.
How exactly does this tank work with a cartomizer that has filler?
From what I've read, you either have to use their slotted cartomizers or cut the slots on regular cartomizers yourself. The tank just continually feeds the juice through the slots.
It works the same way as the 808 cartomizer in the GG's AVS.
Cartomizer has a "slot". Than Cartomizer is submerged into a tank full of liquid. The filler in the cartomizer draws in the liquid through the slot. Aka the tank becomes the extension to the cartomizer.... Hope this helps.. lol
Yup the cone, dont worry it will make sense when you see it all!
Oh ya the cartos if used properly will always we wet,as the result last longer... but ya ya every now and than you will get a crappy carto...
Cartos you can in future always cut yourself, easy to do.. if you have a dremel...
