Ceramic version thoughts..

I have an Ody v1 and have two Penelopes on the way. I know the ready part will be going up for sale soon and planned to get one for my drip mode and wanted thoughts on the new ceramics. Also will the new ceramic fit in the old holder and if not will v1 ceramics be made again? Would it be best to just update the full atty part to v2 for both the Ody and drip mode since I have no spare ceramics and plan to get some of those also..

Just to clarify your answer....
The new ceramics, with one ceramic channel, do NOT fit inside the v1 ceramic housing?

If I were to purchase a new ceramic, with one ceramic channel, and a v2 ceramic housing with one metal channel,
would this fit into the v1 base and be usable?

I'm using v2 rebuildable on Ody's GGTS base and fits perfect.
I've also tried it with v1 510 base with the same result.
So the answer is yes

I havn't actually tried a V2 ceramic in V1 housing because I can't put my Penny down however Imeo did say he would have more V1 ceramics made so that shouldn't be a big worry.
