Has anyone came across a ceramic material with a good capillary flow? Instead of using poly fiber what if a ceramic material were used for a wick of for the fiber fill of a catridge? Anyone thought of this yet?

Ceramic foam is a new material that is very stable, very strong and has good capillary flow and is very, very heat resistant. Check this stuff out. Might be the perfect stuff for cartidge filler.

None, just that the poly fiber wick I am still thinking cannot be all that great. Ever get that burnt taste in your mouth? That has to be the poly fibers being burned and who knows what kind of fumes it is giving off. I am looking for a more suitable material for my design and I am thinking a good pourous ceramic with capillary action on par with poly fiber might be the ticket.
