Too solidify yourself in the market of e juice manufacture I would think the evolution should be to pre steep and certify flavors before sale.the shelf life to me seems sufficent to allow this.I think the quality would go way up and the variations in flavor charactoristics would be deminshed. Are there any manufactures doing this yet,who are they,if not,why not?Just as I am in search of a consistante and reliable PV I would also like to have a E liquid supplier that sells ready to vape products that are made in a way to be consistante in flavor and ready to use.Who would'nt want that.I,m tired of finding something I like and reordering it only to find out that they just got lucky the last time.I am not quite ready to DIY but I will if I have to.

I would rather buy my juice from vendors that mix it fresh when you order it. I don't want something that's been sitting on a shelf for who know how long. If you start DIY there are still going to be flavors that will need to steep after you mix them, so that isn't the solution to your problem.

Agreed. You learn to place orders so they have time to steep before the juice is required. I have a shelf. I can steep it myself. I know the born date and the ready to use date.

Freedomsmokeusa actually is doing this. The bottles aren't ready yet. I'm not sure when they will begin to be available, but I imagine in a couple months hopefully. It will be called Gold Label. It may cost a tad bit more because of the storage costs of keeping it in inventory, but at least you will have pre-steeped juice available in case supplies are getting low and you don't have the time to wait for steeping.

How did those of us who started vaping last year ever get by when you didn't have to do anything to your liquid other than open it up and start vaping? But I agree with the OP that if that truely is necessary, it should be done before it is sold. I use Liberty Flights and Rocky Mountain Vapor's liquids and no "steeping" is necessary. LF's Home Counties liquid is really fine.

Gatorvapor's juice seems to be steeped some. I don't know if all them are- but I bought a couple 10ml bottles when I purchased my kit- granted I went to their actual little store at my local flea market. Anyways- they both have prepared dates and exp dates. I bought mine on 12/12 and the prepared dates on my bottles are 10/08 and 08/09- both of this year. So you could try them out. Like I said though- I bought from one of their local stores and I don't know what they ship out. You can find their website via google- gatorvapor- Just a suggestion.

I prefer to have freshly made juice, not something that has been sitting on a shelf for only God knows how long, which would happen if a supplier mis-judged and made more pre-mixed juice than could be sold in a reasonable time. Or, if it was an honest supplier, they would be throwing out juice that didn't sell, and we would end up paying more for juices to cover the waste. I can steep the stuff myself. It is not a big deal.

Could someone explain this whole steeping thing to me? Because it seems right now, I must be doing something wrong because I just pop open a bottle when it arrives and start vaping it ><

I should note though that my orders generally take about 2 weeks or more to arrive so is it possible they're being steeped while in transit?

would you buy wine the same way or alcohol?or would you prefer the finished product?

Two different kinds of products. Quality wine tends to get better with age, while juice benefits from aging for a short period of time, but it does begin to deteriorate after a year or so. I would not want, for instance a 25 year old (you plug in the name) juice, while I would want the 25 year old wine.

If it tastes good to you, then don't worry about it. Up until a few months ago I don't think anyone even thought about this. Then a couple of suppliers (I believe but not sure) stated to some of their customers they need to do this and that was why their liquid didn't taste that good. Personally, I think it is BS. To me there is no rationale behind this.

True. They will also offer freshly mixed juices for those who want to steep them themselves. Some of us don't have the funds to buy juice that will sit there for 2-3 weeks. I'm glad that this option is being offered.

You probably should have no problem then. Your juices are already steeped for you by the postal service. (In several countries. )

It's this concept (That isnt true for All juices, and some argue isnt true at all) that juices taste better if you give them a week, let the bottle air out for a day, do a rain dance while patting your head. Some how your juices will go from Blah to amazing!

P.S plenty of companies do this already...like all the ones who Dont offer Freshly made ejuice.

excellent guy's!once you have a consistant product on the market, only then can you establish a base line to which you can compare with.right now all we have is crap shoot as to who has the best mixologist or DIY.I was a candy macker in my youth and i know how a little variatoin can make a big differance especially if it's batch size.and because the flavor is so concentrated that if you mix a 10-30 ml batch it could taste different everytime.
there is also the option of adatives that can extend the shelf life.before you go eww, understand pg/vg and nicotine are not garden fresh they are chemicals.you cant get organic e liquid yet.I understand the appeal of a hand crafted micro juice company, but they need to improve the repeatability of their flavors.in the mean time i would be content with a mass produced presteeped ready to use e liquid that tastes the same everytime.hoping for the best and anticipating surprises is fun but more than not it ends in disapointment

pg/vg and nicotine are all chemicals.put in an adative to extend the shelf life then it woulkd'nt matter how old it was because it would preserve the flavor.and yes i would expect the price would go up but so would the quality.and it might eliminate the profitteers that moonlite as mixers at vapor shops and acually get some professionals.i'm sure that there would be plenty of shops that would cater to people like you who like to be suprised what flavor the flavor they purchased tastes like and want to save a couple of bucks to steep it yoursefl

I'm not sure what that additive would be, and the fewer chemicals in my juice the better.

I honestly would rather steep them myself and know for sure what I have on hand, as I order only freshly made juice now anyway. However, if it ever comes down to a money issue where my juice supply runs low and it is a choice of either vaping un-steeped juice that tastes like crap or paying a bit more for something that is good when I get it, then I would buy the "aged" stuff.
