Hey Chad - any chance of an official explanation of the change in size between the Silver Bullet V1 and V1.1?

I've already been asked by a customer -
"Seen Truelove's new vid, but wondered which is which and what are the differences ?? Bit confused :)"

I've told him what I am aware the reason(s) to be, but I think it would be better coming from the horse's (sorry wolf's:D) mouth...

The official explaination....
SB v1 was the shorter of the two. SB v1.1 has a longer battery life, higher voltage longer. V1.1 allows for protected 6v setup using 2 x CR123, or a whoping 2400mAh 18650 battery. The length was increased 15mm to do this.

Hi Tribal,

The Silver bullet V1 is not being made anymore. It has been improved to V1.1.

As you can see from Truelove's vid, V1 was a bit smaller. But it was wanted to increase the mAh capability to the vast 2400mAh and also to be able to use protected batteries for both 3.7v and 6v; and so it was made a bit longer to house them...

Both Rob and I think that safety is paramount, and so we agreed that the priority of being able to use protected batteries is a necessity.

And so we very strongly recommend that users of the Silver Bullet always use protected batteries.
