Here's today's build. 1st rebuild in about a month. Chalice on grand with 29 ga .055" ID micro coil with some rolled cotton wick. Didn't even meter it. Vapes as awesome as I expected :)

I have two Chalices.....a first run and a second run....and I agree that the first run is beyond excellent. I didn't even like the screws in the second run until everyone kept singing their praises. Then I figured I must be missing something if I didn't like them more....so now I like them more. The fact that I have absolutely NO LEAKING whatsoever with the Chalices is really a plus. Also, they're a little smaller at the base than the RM2, so they fit into the cups of all my Woodvils with no modification.

The first run chalices have regular screws and threads in the posts. You may be able to use 28 since you scored a first run.

Oh man. Even better. I hardly go to the classies since I went full Reo, but I check from time to time looking for a Chalice and somebody posted one at 3am my time and I just happened to check them 10 minutes after it went up. Now I really can't wait.

Ok so this is what I was guessing. The coil legs come off in different directions. I'm going to have to get some of that 29g. If the 28 fits, a nice 8 wrap on the DarkZero jig should be boss.

I saw you buy that in classifieds....congratulations. They're mighty hard to come by. You'll love it, I'm sure. Really sweet rba.

Who knows.....but it seems that way. It's been a L-O-N-G time since the last run. Go ask MarkBugs ....but even if he does another run, they'll go fast....and they're EXPENSIVE for an RBA. But....they're worth it (IMHO.)

Some guy on Reddit was selling one for $350 not too long ago and I think he got something approaching his asking price. One would think that with that kind of demand that it would be worth the time to do another run. In actually going to take mine to a local bad ... Ti machinist that I know and see what it would cost to replicate something similar in Ti. I'm no fan of cloning other makers' IP, but the lack of supply of high quality BF RBAs is really stupid at this point. Paying $300+ For an atty is ludicrous. There is definitely a need that could be filled.
