The problem with propane is it gives off vapor when it burns (not the good kind :vapor:)

Propane undergoes combustion reactions in a similar fashion to other alkanes. In the presence of excess oxygen, propane burns to form water and carbon dioxide.

That makes it almost impossible to correctly barbeque with - Grill Yes BBQ No.

It may also contain small amounts of propylene and/or butylene. An odorant such as ethanethiol or thiophene is added so that people can easily smell the gas in case of a leak. Bleck!
