Charger for 510 and ego question

I bought a riva kit from Liberty flights. It came with "1 x USB Fast Charger and 1 x USB Mains Plug (US)" I know I had read somewhere that you cannot use the fast chargers on regular 510 batteries because they are too powerful.

SO, I recently ordered regular slim 510 batteries from lf and because I only had the "fast" charger I ordered a usb 510 charger.

The usb charger I got is the exact same as the one in the riva kit.

Maybe it's the wall adapter part that I cant use with 510?

But I just got an 808 usb/wall charger and the wall adapter on that says the same info as my 'fast' charger, so if i can use that on a shory 808 with the output I would think I can on the 510.

The wall adapter on both the fast charger and 808 both say

I have the 510's and an eGo. The USB chargers look identical, but have different current (milliamp) ratings. The 510 (for the slim batteries) USB charger outputs 150mA while the eGo charger outputs 420mA. Input is the same 5V @ 500mA.

So do not use a higher output charger on the 510 batteries or you'll probably fry them. Too much current.

Check the rated listings on the rear of the USB adapter. It should be as described by JonB. If the 510 charger is the higher mA, have it exchanged.
