I have 2 chargers one volt(808) and one 901 and 3 808 auto batts that wont charge on either..
I also have a ego charger and 808 to 510 adapter but afraid to put anything but an ego on there.
These batts are used but sent to me charged and worked just fine in a pinch.
They came with a A 808 pcc that wont charge them either but works from the look of the LED lights... seeing as I know they hold a charge what in that word do I need to charge them? Got them in a PIF with someone here I/we trust.... I know these batts work. I just need to know where to go to get the right charger so I don't buy a bunch that don't work. already collecting chargers as is.. Once I sort this out I'll have no use to the 901 charger or the PCC I think ;)...

Couple possibles.

Any chance the chargers have some gunk on the contacts? Cleaning with a qtip dipped in isopropyl alcohol, then a dry qtip to pick up any residual liquid can help. (unplug the charger before doing this, and give our a couple minutes after for any remaining alcohol to evaporate; the qtip should be damp, not soaked)

If the chargers are the universal push type, rather than a screw on connection, sometimes it's just a bear to push the battery in far enough to get contact on the center pin of the charger. I'll tend to use a twisting motion, as if screwing the battery in, to help in that case.

With the PCC just leave the door open and push down firmly on the battery while it is in the charging port. Alot of batteries don't contact well if the lid is looser than it should be. You should see the light on the PCC come on and the battery will light up or flash a few times.

Did you voltmeter the batteries?

I have heard that some VaporKings/V4L 808's only charge on their chargers....might check out their subforum. Also MV sells SB 808 kits and the one I had will not charge on my volt charger.

The blue PCC, it's the metal one, no? That may be a 510 PCC, got any 510 batts to try it with?
yep and though the PPC appears to be in working order the 510s wont charge...

I'm lost. I have thought it through and it's stumping me.
Pins lifted, contacts cleaned, adapters used...I'll keep fiddle with it if nothings else maybe someone will want all this in a TC? Everything works just not with each other....

Using the PCC to charge an SI 808 batt. So PCC is fine its the 3 traded batt I don't seam to have a charger for I guess.

I just need to mention this was not a PIF gone bad. Just can't find something to charge these 3 batts sent me with a full charge. So I know they too work> I was stumped I have so many chargers I just don't understand. I was seeing if maybe Someone knew something I did not. In reading I found some batts are wired the other way so pin is negative?
but What I read was on egos SF or some other cant remember the name or thread I found that on was months ago. I don't blame anyone.
I know these work that is way I have not contacted the trader...

Although I haven't heard of it in 808s, some 510s are known to use reverse polarity. Doing a quick check I ran across this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...can-i-charge-v4l-batteries-their-charger.html The thread is a case where the charger doesn't indicate it is charging the batteries, but it actually is.

Maybe check with the person you traded with, just to find out the make (vendor/brand) of the batteries.

Definitely don't put them on the eGo charger :)
