charger questions

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if I am able to charge a standard 510 battery on an ego charger? Thought i would ask before trying

DON'T DO IT!!! You'll fry the battery. The eGo charger is made to charge the eGo battery quickly. The little 510 can't take it that fast. You can charge an eGo on a 510 charger but, it takes a lot longer.

Cool, thanks. The reading on back of both chargers didn't line up.....so that's why I asked! Thanks.

If you have a separate USB to AC piece you can use the higher mA output one for charging either battery. I actually use a 2-amp 4-port one by Rosewill (from Newegg) to hold 4 various battery charger cables (2 amp is 2000 mA so enough for charging 4 batteries at once). What you cannot use the the Ego charger cable on a slim 510 battery. The cable is the part that decides how much power to allow to reach the battery. I labeled my Riva cable to make sure I never stick my 510 in it.
