We've been selling a lot of the new Nitecore chargers (flashlights, not e cigs, but it charges 18650's, RCR123's, etc), and I've been using one personally for a while now, and I've been very pleased with it.
If you go with something like this, it is adjustable for different length batteries including protected 18650's. I've charged AW's, Klarus, Tenergy, and generic's in mine.
"No frills" means it's very plain, basic, nothing fancy. And I apologize for the recommendation, since I'm still learning about batteries and though all 18350s were the same. I use it for AW IMR 18350 batteries.
XTAR was suggested to me as an alternative to Pila, which is too expensive for me.
