After buying my 510 I was kicking myself for not having ordered a second AC charger...when I realized that I haven't actually seen any such accessories for the 510. USB chargers, yes. AC, no.

Does such a product even exist? With only the one, it's going to take forever for me to prep all the spare batteries I got...

I'd think a USB charger would be fine for batteries that have already had their first charge. But for the very first charge, surely only an AC charger should be used...otherwise, you might be all year waiting for that first charge to complete, right?

If you look at the price of spare attys, batteries and carts, the charger is almost free in most cases. So if I were you, I'd just buy a second kit. For example (I picked 2 with free shipping)

RockyMountain
Kit - 46
2xatty - 16
2xbatt - 24
blank - 4.50
Total - 44.50 - charger costs $1.50

Widowsbeadwork
Kit - 50
2xatty - 20
2xbatt - 25
cart - 5
Total - 50 - charger free

They have AC chargers at Eastmall, Mike. It looks like I can't post URLs yet, but you can easily find the link on the forum.

(yes, I am pimping Eastmall because they have fabulous customer service :) )

You're right that the charger is in effect free in some of these packages. But, I think I might have enough 'gear' at the moment (I know -- there's truly never enough :) and it'd be more 'efficient' if I could just get the charger. I think I found one at a U.S. vendor online, and I'm checking it out now.

I got a 2nd 801 AC charger as an extra with an order recently...and it's bad. I have to send it all the way back across the country for an exchange; I don't dare use it in case it's shorting out inside. This is why having extra chargers on hand -- let's face it, the silly chargers aren't that well made :-( -- would be a good idea IMO.

I agree with you about East Mall. Their responsiveness and service are outstanding. It's just that I'm running short on time before going out of town and I can't be certain I'll get the merchandise on time from China, what with unknown times required in Customs, etc. Also I have just the one 510 charger and a bunch of batteries to charge up -- takes forever with a single charger...
