hi guys, is the xtar WP211 still a recommended charger? and is 10.00 a decent price? thanks!

Hey lady! Can't answer your question about that specific charger, but I can recommend the 4-bay i4 intellicharger from Nitecore. I replaced my WP2 and TR-001. I think I got it around $20 at MOV on Lovell.

Only drawback is the lights are uber bright, especially the blue power indicator. I covered the blue one with black electrical tape.

Best not to cheap-out on a charger. My old TR-001 was charging batts to 4.25. This is bad, mkay.

My WP2 actually had one side go kaput. I didn't trust it after that.

Can't think of which shops are close to y'all, but check the SMV vendor list and call around to the ones closest to you.

I have an xtar WP 2 II along with LUC 2 & 4 bay chargers. Works just fine for backing the others up when they are full. $10 is a give away price.

When I need a new charger I just ask Randy over at RTD to tell me what I need after I explain what I'm trying to do.

I think the one you are lookiing at has usb too, so you can charge your cell phone.

I have the 2 bay XTar VP1 that I've been using daily for a couple years. It still works perfectly. If and when it dies, I'll be getting another XTar.
