I have a good slow charging charger that automatically shuts off when the batfery is charged to keep from overcharging. Do 30 amp batteries take longer to charge then 20 amp or do they charge about the same?

Think of Charging your Battery like when you go to the Gas Station to put gas in your Car.

The Time it takes to Fill Up your tank depends on How Big your tank is. And How Fast the Gas comes out of the Pump's Handle.

    So a 18650 Battery that has 3000 mAh has a Bigger "Tank" than a 2000mAh 18650 Battery.

And charging at 1 Amp lets more "Gas" come out of the "Handle" than charging at 0.5 Amps for a given unit of Time.

For under $30 you can buy an Efest LUC 4 charger. It does .5A, 1A, and 2A charging. It can do 1A on four bays at once. It's been my workhorse charger for years. It also comes in a two bay config for less money.

1A is a good charge rate, but Mooch says 2A charging won't hurt most batteries, but 1A is better for battery longevity. Here's a charge rate table from Mooch.

    That's What I Got a E Fest and I highly recommend it
