I have a pass-through batt, 650MaH. I don't have a screw-in charger, I've been charging it via the USB port. Just a curiosity, I would like to know if these pass-through batteries could also be charged by screwing them into a regular charger... or a PCC.

Also, I have observed is kinda slow to charge when using the PC, or the USB Port of my car's stereo. But when connected to a wall-usb adapter (such as the Barnes & Noble Nook's charger), it recharges a lot faster. I hope is doesn't explode or anything...

RubenX, even my standard Ego and Riva batteries take longer to charge when I use the USB port on my PC. When I plug them in to the wall adapter, they charge much quicker.

You can recharge them by screwing them into a regular charger or PCC.

If your Barnes & noble charger doesn't output more than 5 volts, I think you will be ok using it.

What is your average charge time when using the PC port versus the B&N charger?

I have a weird issue with it just staying green when plugged into my laptop (plugged into the wall, not just off the battery), but charges fine on my PC at work or when plugged into the wall charger. Is that common? Regular battery not pass thru.

IIRC it requires a USB ver 2.0 or better to charge properly from a USB port. Perhaps your laptop has the older USB 1.0.

Thanks, not sure...it is an almost 3 yr old laptop, which I suppose sounds ancient these days. My phone charges fine, my GreenSmoke USB charges fine, but not the eGo. It's ok, I have outlets.
