hey guys-

I have a question regarding charging....I put my dead battery on the wall charger and a couple hours later, I am noticing that the wall charger indicator light is going from red to green every 5-10 seconds or so. The kind of odd part is as soon as the charging indicator goes green, my battery blinks 15 times. Then, the indicator light goes back to red for approx 10 seconds, and again, turns green and the battery goes off 15 times again...it's like a never ending cycle!

Is this normal? Or has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!!

Yeah, definitely odd. I notice with this same battery that sometimes the led will go out for a second even when I'm certain I'm holding down the button with enough pressure. I am going to leave it on the charger for a good 6-8 hours and then test the battery life on it. The charger has no issues with my other battery so far.

If it's not affecting battery life and is actually charging the battery then I really don't care how it blinks or what light is on the charger! Thanks for your input skinny.

Yep. That's normal. It's just nearing the end of the charging cycle.

thanks - but it's been stuck in this cycle for close to an hour now. On my other batt, the light goes from red to green, and then again but then finally sticks on a solid green. Can't seem to get the solid green on this battery as of yet, not to mention the 15 blinks every 10-15 seconds or so...

I'm pretty sure it's the battery. I left it on the charger for over 6 hours and it would not hold a charge past one hour of minimal/medium usage (not heavy by any stretch). As mentioned above, my other battery is fine and actually it's astounding just how long it will last me (around 6 hours!!) I'm currently rotating between the one batt on my VK and my Janty eGo so I'm still able to vape - thank God for backups!!

I emailed V4L over the weekend and hopefully they will take care of this battery issue for me. I would LOVE to be able to place another order but I can't afford to right now - unemployed, and I'm looking at a $400+ vet bill this week too...LOL and my breakeven date on ecigs is June 12th!!!

I must say I finally feel I have found the device for me and a supplier with great options in juices/battery colors etc - my next large order will definitely be through V4L. Can't beat the support on this sub-forum as well!

v1John - sorry, I don't have a pcc so can't help you with your question - but I am certain someone will chime in and assist you!

Thanks everyone above for your help.
