Tornado, Riva and eGo 650ma and 1000mah batteries. Do all the batteries use the same charger? What are the Output ratings on the chargers?
My Tornado (650ma) came with the same charger the 510 uses. (Model: Joye510) w/adapter to fit the eGo. I think it's too small in current rating. The output rating on it is: DC 4.2v - 150ma. Looked on line for the 1000mah. The 1000 says "Must be used with USB Quick charger" which is basically a USB cord. Seen complaints in postings that they are not Quick at all. Takes 7-8 hrs to charge.

You can use a 200ma on both, but the 400-420ma only on the 900-1000mAh on the
What are the Output ratings on the chargers? should be 4.2v and amperage depends on the battery being charged.

The chargers are in the small box with the LED attached to the USB dongle where the battery screws on. On my T-Rex 650mAh I originally got 200ma chargers. When I changed to the 400-420ma charger not much improved. I checked the AC adapter, and they were rated very low - I bought USB AC adapters rated at 2 amps (2000ma) and that cut the charge time in half. Your 650's will probably charge in an hour, the 1000's in 2 hours or less. Remember - don't use anything above the 150ma for your 510's.
