Hey all, just wondering if its safe to leave the 510 on the charger over night? I heard its best to care the 510 apart over night to let everything dry our? I'm not sure about both of these ideas?

you can leave it on the charger. I dont like to leave them on when I am not home though. you dont need to let things dry out. just wipe attys off with a paper towel..
I charge mine overnight all the time. Some will advise you not to, and I'm not saying they're wrong. Better safe then sorry. I'll be charging all of mine (overnight) over the next couple of days, hurricane on the way, so I'll probably be without power for at least a few days, possibly more. Not the time to be without!
scheherezade - I have a tale for you...Staples (and such) sell a rechargeable USB battery pack. You charge it up and from it you can charge any USB device. It is marketed for people to be able to charge cell phones.

Thanks, just got something similar, but I don't know how long they last before they need to be recharged. Hoping a while because I think I'm probably looking at a few days without power. I have quite a few batteries so I should be ok. Thanks for the luck, looks like it may be a bit close, but we're almost ready. Planning on grilling dinner for a couple of days.
