I can't post a link yet(or maybe I can), but if you search ebay for "510 atomizers", there's now a 20 pack for $57/Free Shipping - Common E EGO 510 Cig Atomizer 20Pcs .

At less than $3 per atomizer, this seems to good to be true. I seem to be burning through these things like candy, so I'd like to stock up.

So, what do you think, is it worth a gamble for some cheap atty's? Has anyone tried these yet?

Ebay banned the sale of e-cigs in July 2009 so there is a good chance those listings will be pulled & the very low feedback seller from China will become NARU.

Aha! I knew it was 2gd2btru. Thank you for this useful info. And by NARU, I'm assuming you mean "Not A Registered User" and NOT the tribe in Punjab ;-).

I wouldn't worry about the attys as much as I would the seller. A feedback of 4 isn't that much even if it is all positive but everybodies gotta start somewhere.

It will take the slow boat from china so if you order take that in consideration but that's not different than ordering from any china seller at least they aren't charging $20 shipping as most do.

E-cig equipment has been selling on Ebay a while now so they must have lifted the restriction someone mentioned above. This seller for instance has feedback on e-cig equip going back to October and I've seen many others on there has well in recent months. Same thing with Amazon but they must still be restricting juice, haven't seen that yet.

If these are indeed the gold band attys like the ones that came with my kits I had great luck with them. I still have 2 working perfectly that were purchased in August. The other two just went south in the past 1-2 months.

Well, these are all good points and thank you for the replies. I sent him an email and he says they are available in 3 different resistances, including LR at around 1.5 ohms. So I think I will keep a watch on these for a while and see what happens. Maybe if his feedback score goes up and the item is still there in a couple weeks I'll consider an order.

In the meantime I'll have to place an order from one of the more reputable vendors - wish Vaporleaf would get their credit card processing back soon - they have atomizers for under $5 each delivered.

Anyone know of another vendor selling the large gold banded ones at a good price?

Yes Jack, NARU in eBay terms means Not (or no longer) a registered user.

Nomo, the restriction has not been lifted -

Tobacco policy

You are correct

"Not allowed: Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) or accessories"

Lot's of people doing it though both domestic and over seas. Maybe they are saying these batteries, attys, drip tips, etc are intended for other uses, haha.

Nomo, the one in Jacko's link are most likely getting round the ban by listing under "Electronics - Other". There is also no mention of e-cigs/electronic cigarettes or anything similar (apart from the word cig) that would be picked up automatically by eBay prior to the listing going live. Once listing s are live, eBay do not police them - they are removed when someone reports the violation.

I actually bought my first e-cig in July 2008 from eBay seller Pillbox (yes the Pillbox of TW fame). I was so impressed with it I wanted to tell the world about e-cigs so set up an ebay e-cig group - All About E-cigarettes. However, after ebay banned them, I recieved an email from the ebay community manager giving me 24 hours to remove all links/info from the group - or else! So I moved the group to a proboard forum.

These days, even mentioning e-cigs on the eBay community forums can get you slapped due to mentioning prohibited items & the posts/threads are removed.

Not sure about your "Large gold banded' but LF has 2.0--riva 510's for 5/19.99 with the 20% off.
Using them now--not bad for last month or so.
Had 2 die so far out of 10
