Or, Bikini Atoll...
whether cotton costs $10 or $20 ... wicking is less than 25 cents per month

surely they are better things we could be looking to save money on :vapor:
Errrr... I re-wick at least twice per week. And I do the Scottish roll method - which uses 1 pad per roll. So, I go through 2 pads per week....

I was paying $6 for 5 pads.... That's $1.20 per pad, so $2.40 per week, or $10.28 per month ~appox.

I paid $20 for 60 pads of KGD delivered ... I've used 7 pads in 1.5 years

13 cents per month for me
I use 10-15ml of E-juice per day.

I will easily hit my vape 10 times in a row @ 80W every hour.

I've been drinking tonight, so I've been hitting it every 5 mins......

Different strokes for different folks. :)

That pic was taken IN Fukushima... are you saying th pads are grown in IN Fukushima? If they are, I'll take your advice... if they're not your comparison is moot.

Did you read the links I posted about Japanese crop contamination?
I'm half joking in this thread, but the links I posted are legit information on the disaster.
The ground is contaminated and it's a huge concern. It is affecting all of Japan and more.

I really don't think the Japanese organic cotton we vape with is grown in Japan, I think it's from China,....well...I hope it is.

Maybe it is! Not sure why it'd be Japanese cotton, if it were gown in China.... but I'll be the first to admit, I really don't know.

I know that pic that was posted of the cucumber was taken IN Fukushima.

Yes it was taken in Fukushima.
Fukushima is tainted.
Cesium 137 has a 20 year half-life.

Costs and Consequences of the Fukushima Daiichi Disaster | PSR

"Once a large amount of radioactive cesium enters an ecosystem, it quickly becomes ubiquitous, contaminating water, soil, plants and animals. It has been detected in a large range of Japanese foodstuffs, including spinach, tea leaves, milk, beef, and freshwater fish up to 200 miles from Fukushima. Radioactive cesium bioaccumulates, bioconcentrates, and biomagnifies as it moves up the food chain. Routine ingestion of foods contaminated with so-called “low levels” of radioactive cesium has been shown to lead to its bioaccumulation in the heart and endocrine tissues, as well as in the kidneys, small intestines, pancreas, spleen and liver. This process occurs much faster in children than in adults, and children are many times more susceptible than adults to the effects of the ionizing radiation their internal organs are then exposed to."

The Japanese government raised the "safe exposure limits" to 20x the previous limit right after the disaster. "Nothing to see here. Everything is fine".

Doesn't scream trustworthy to me.
Just sayin.

Which is harder to believe?

A $20.00 box of Japanese cotton is grown in china.

Or...

A $50,000.00 American car is assembled in Mexico of parts nearly exclusively made in China and Taiwan?

I read the links Bad Ninja. Considering the amount of cotton we use, I believe I have much more serious risks to worry about :)

It's an American company, they're not claiming to make cars in America.

If Japanese cotton is a certain variety of cotton and can be grown anywhere - I'd concede, but I don't think that's what the term Japanese cotton means. The term "American car" is disingenuous whenused to describe cars that aren't made in America, and I'm pretty sure everyone and their dog knows that it's in reference to the location of the company itself, not where the cars are made.

What I need clarification on is if "Japanese cotton" falls under the same definition, e.g. is it a variety of cotton from Japan originally but grown elsewhere, or is it "Japanese cotton" because it's grown in Japan.
