cheaper version of everclear PGA?

Im looking for a cheaper way to dissolve my menthol and ethyl maltol.

I don't want to use the warm water/microwave a solution of PG/VG + whatever needs to be dissolved
because the re-crystallization is really annoying.


But Everclear Pure Grain Alcohol sells for around $30 which seems like a lot just to dissolve stuff.

Is there a more generic version of Everclear?

Edit: I found Bevmo sells it for $17. I guess that'll work, still pricey for a dissolving solution, but Ill give that a try.

Won't help you much with the menthol, but Lorann cotton candy is just EM dissolved in PG and a one-ounce bottle should last you a heck of a long time

Where I live they don't sell pga, but devils springs 160 proof vodka works well, 1/2 pint isn't very pricey.

Do what I did..go to the liquor store and ask for the highest proof vodka they have, then buy the cheapest. I live in Ohio so no PGA here, but I got 'Galen's 151' and it does the job for me
