Did you fire the coil before switching the battery? Resistance can change with temperature depending on type of wire.
What did you switch the battery in? The ohmmeter? If so, perhaps the circuitry in it is voltage sensitive. (It is very hard-- read expensive-- to build an accurate milliohmmeter; most of the good ones are hundreds of dollars and generally unusable for vape purposes as they have currents of hundreds of amperes, being intended to test motor windings. If you paid less, you probably didn't get much. The only really good way to measure such things at the level vapers need is a 4-wire Kelvin probe setup; I've never seen one, even Chinese made, less than a Franklin.) A better guess is, the difference in readings is only .04Ω. For most vape meters that's a rounding error. You might have gotten that much, or more, variance, just by twisting the atty in the 510 connector a bit. We're talking a very tiny amount

That's a very good one, in a reasonable price range. I use the 521 Tab full size myself. But yeah, the difference you're observing is peanuts, probably below the native accuracy limit of the device. It's basically meaningless. If you're handy with electronics, I can tell you how to build a Kelvin setup with a salvaged DC power supply and a couple of 741 op-amps...

I have some mods that do that, say .5 then batteries need change and go to .55 or .6 (swap back and resistance goes down), I've assumed some of it is due to the battery sag (internal resistance). I notice it more as certain pairs are due to be retired.
Then again I've had meters read .5, tighten the atty down a touch more and it might go up or down. No matter the casing, majority of all these meters have the same Chinese chip/board in them.

Your build is fine if your goal is to produce moderate to large clouds and and decent to good taste.There is no published gear,settings/builds that every vaper will agree on.

If you are thinking about the Amp Draw on your Batteries, then for a Regulated Mod, the Ohms do Not Matter. It's the Wattage you set the Mod to and the Voltage of the Battery that Determines Amp Draw.
Here is a Good Site where you can plug in what you have and the Wattage you might use to see the Amp Draw at the Atomizer and the Amp Draw on the Battery.
