These use the Nivel chip. I've read that it's superior to the Provari chip,
and, most importantly, has Variable Wattage, which the Provari doesn't.
One button operation. Made in the USA. Much better specs than the Provari
chip.

This is the chip used in the svoemesto Semovar, a Russian
designed PV, built in Germany.

The thing that considers the nivel chip to be the best is that it is DC-DC, no PWM or RMS. I've been waiting for vaperev to email me about restocking the semovar. I think svoemesto took them off the shelves to fix the kinks in first releases.

When I first read about the nivel chip, it said it was only made available to 3 manufacturers. I guess that is old news? Can't wait to see if it becomes more prevalent in use.

actually that link is quite old and that guy has been on a couple vape/web casts.

at the time he was the only US distributor ( i think he still is) the only other way to get the raw chip is direct from germany or russia, so taken that its just a one man operation doing the importing for you you cant really expect a huge professional website.

the nival rocks, love my semo, now there is a couple other chips/mods getting ready to bust out of Germany and EU (20 and 30watts!) that may step up the game even more! choices are a coming.
