Sorry if this is an odd question. I'm looking at buying my first rba, and was wondering if anyone has ever put a check valve in the juice control whole(or whatever the hole is with the screw) on a Genny style Atty. I would think this would help in preventing a leak.

I made one once with a little ball bearing in a tube. it worked alright upside down, but leaked if laid horizontal. If you find one or make one that works, let us know.:)

Here is an idea I have never seen before. Use a small pump spray bottle, like what might be used for breath freshener. While it may be possible to just use it for the check valve function, I suspect it will take too much pressure to overcome the force of the spring. But, it might be possible to use the pump action itself. You would have to fashion your own replacement for the spray head.

There was a commercially sold unit that was just that, instead of dripping you pumped and it use a small perfume pump.:) It didn't catch on though.
