I searched on but guessing this should be the right place. I am off from analogs for 12 days. Started with eversmoke 18 mg tobacco and used cig2o cherry flavored 18 mg too. 2 days ago I bought 18 mg vaporzx menthol blast from a local shop and filled my refillable cartridge for the first time (it was brand new). I have a chest pain like a heavy weight is on and morning cough started again after 11 days. I was ten year smoker and was very glad my morning cough stopped right after starting the e-cigs. I have no idea what is the PG/VG ratio of the vaporzx juice just saw it on a website as 50/50 but could not trust it. Eversmoke however claims that they use 80/20 so is that caused by VG or the quality of the juice?

Thanks and sorry for my english

Look up 'cilia'.... These are the feather like lining in the lungs that are paralyzed by the tar and other things with smoking. They fail to clear out the mucus with smokers, except in the morning, after not having smoked for @8 hours, they 'rehabilitate' themselves and hence "morning cough". When smokers quit or when one starts vaping, the cilia are rehabilitated and start to do what they are supposed to do. So vapers, even when they're off cigarettes will experience this coughing and sometimes chest pain when they first stop cigarettes.

This is a normal bodily response of no longer having tar in the lungs, or repairing the damage. Unfortunately, there are some anti-ecigarette zealots that look for these type of posts on ECF in order to 'prove' ecigarettes are 'bad for your health' but in fact, it happens with anyone who has quit smoking - those who happen to quit with patches, gum, Chantix or cold turkey. It's gonna happen, BUT.... it eventually goes away as the lungs repair themselves and reject the tar build up. So it is actually a 'positive' symptom that your lungs are working again :)

That said, if the condition lasts for more than a few weeks, you should see a doctor. There is also the slight possibility that you're PG intolerant (look that up in the 'Health' forums for more info) - the probability of PG allergy is greater than a VG allergy, but it is much more probable that your lungs are in repair and these conditions will subside real soon.
