Before anything, I need to make it very clear that we have no idea what we are talking about. This will be the first mod any of us have ever owned, so we don't know the lingo, or anything. We are still learning. So please take it easy on us, ok?
My daughter won a Chi-You Clone("recommend my page to the most people and you win this awesome clone" type deal) , no idea the manufacturer as top and bottom caps do not look anything like the other Chi-You Clone's we've seen on the net. The only battery so far we can get to fit into it in any configuration is Red 18350. So we bought it with a charger, and it was working fine until today. Suddenly it just won't fire. The firing pin CANNOT be adjusted, screwed in or out(other than the safety lock feature). The pin in the 510 connection on top where you screw in the atomizer or tank is spring loaded so it can't pushed down through more, and it hasn't moved anyway. My thoughts are that the battery is just dud. When we put in the charger, the charger turns red at first but within 30 seconds it's green again. There are no burn marks, or corrosion anywhere that we can see. Should we buy another battery and see if that is the issue? Or is there something else we are missing? It's not the nimbus atomizer as I can put that on an ego battery and it works. There's no way the battery isn't making contact inside the tube. The battery has a button top positive and a flat neg and it is protected. Like I said, it was working totally fine until about 3 hours ago when it just stopped firing.
Any suggestions or idea are hugely appreciated.
