Billy, that is exactly why CASAA testified before TPSAC: CASAA: CASAA testifies at FDA hearing

We supported this change. Arguments against e-cigs concerning long-term use of nicotine and addiction potential are countered with this new development. According to the "experts," studies show long-term use and addiction potential are not an issue with those nicotine products, so it's kind of hard for the ANTZ to keep saying "we don't know" on those anymore.

you know your right, and in some ways this makes me more outraged than an outright ban, because it's plain simple extortion.....we've all heard stories from people around the world who talk about getting shaken down by the authorities. nickel and dimed by corrupt goverment officals, police,inspectors,....bakeesh.....how is this different. What's going on in our nation today, what have we allowed to happen....when the worst elements of our society feel they can sheer us like domestic animals, and strip us of our wealth and liberty with impunity.
Stop saying ban, no city in this nation would do such a thing. They regulated it, every city wants the same thing they want these products to keep going it's already a sucess they just want a big piece of the pie. Regulate it as tobacco and tax it as such. No ban here never will be, too much money to be made.

And that's why I remembered to join CASAA last night - sorry it took so long!

I'd love to see someone on TV counter one of these "experts" and talking heads with this issue. Oh, nicotine is bad? Then how come the FDA is supporting it's use, through nicotine gum? How come the FDA says it's safe?

It's maddening, the more you dig into this, how blatant and phony a lot of it is!

is this a real quote from Hitler.....as i recall you live in germany so I'm gonna say you'd probablly knowif it is.

Quote Originally Posted by Uma View Post

I don't believe so. I found it a very nice quote myself but after googling it several sites say that it was never part of the Mein Kampf which apparently is where the quote originated. Some have gone to say that it's meaning certainly is what Hitler intended but was never included in any of the translations. Apparently some people with more time than me searched for the word child and children in the translations and the sentence "The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people." or anything similar is ever found next to the word child or children.

Retraction: Adolf Hitler Quote

by michaelsuede • October 11, 2012

I recently wrote an article where I cited a quote from Adolf Hilter, turns out it was actually a manufactured quote derived from a passage in a fictional letter written by Rabbi Daniel Lapin in 2004.

The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.

My apologies.

Of course, I do believe Hitler would have fully agreed with the point the quote is making.

He did say, “He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future. ” Along with, ”All great movements are popular movements. They are the volcanic eruptions of human passions and emotions, stirred into activity by the ruthless Goddess of Distress or by the torch of the spoken word cast into the midst of the people. ”

This appears to be a topic of debate...
Talk:Mein Kampf - Wikiquote
First published in English in 1933. The quote mentioned apparently comes from the 1943 English addition on page 403.

Can't find the 1943 edition online but there is no mention of it in the 1941 edition Full text of "Mein Kampf"

Apparently after all this time no one has scanned page 403 of the 1943 edition to prove or disprove this...seems a fairly simple thing to do if you can find the 1943 edition.

Sorry way off topic ;)
