I cant seem to find out why my dual coil builds keep shorting? i've tried 28g kanthal ribbon wire and 32g kanthal wire both doing 3/4 wraps dual coil. I've wrapped each 2 times and it shorts every time. I've checked to make sure the coil wasn't touching the base or the posts and i checked resistance for each wire repeatedly give out .6 ohms and 1.2 ohms. I have no idea whats going wrong, anyone got any ideas?
