I've had vertigo several times but it never lasted more than a day. I have symptoms that really stress me out like buzzing feet, bizarre pains that come from out of the blue and in different places, a bad gut with a mind of its own, super duper hot flashes but there doesn't seem like there is much to be done about it. Guess we'll see what this doctor has to say.
I hope he doesn't treat me like a nut. I am not making this stuff up. I started taking B vitamins and I stopped having twitching in my toes and near my eye. I think I need to get some sort of meditation CD to help me deal with stress but so far I have gotten one Tai Chi DVD that even my husband who loves karate and tai chi couldn't follow and one tape that sucked.
Any one have an idea for a meditation/relaxation tape that they love?
What about going to a class? I know you'e busy, but a class might help more than a CD. I know with riding, you really need an instructor on the spot. You couldn't learn to ride from a CD or DVD. Could it be the same with meditation?
As for something to meditate to, I've heard of people making their own, which sounds good. You could custom-make it to suit what you respond to best. What about some restful music you really like, and just sitting back with your eyes closed and listening to it? I think listening to music can be like a meditation.
Maybe a glass of wine before or while listening to the music would help.
I couldn't sleep in a chair for 3 days but I had her do the maneuver anyway. Thankfully I didn't have to keep my head up for it to work.

Great shot!
