Here's one to make you laugh … or cry. Do you think he was just learning how to drive a motorcycle? Look at the one in the upper right that smashes into the white van. That's where it all starts.

 Great ending!! I'm thinking maybe a lunch high in fermented content?

He does look like a newbie but it's also possible that his throttle was sticking or his brakes weren't working or maybe he didn't even know he had brakes.

Any email that comes from PayPal, or any other important source, I always verify by login into that specific account and checking for messages at the site itself. Never trust an email, especially one with a link. I've gotten a few from "PayPal" that were phishing scams.

I use the same credit card for online purchases all the time. I get notified for every purchase made on it by the credit card company, settings on their website. I did have one fraudulent purchase on it, but the company, BofA, caught it and called me! They issued a new card immediately. Just for added security I'm using LifeLock, and that has worked for me as well and covers more than just online activities.

Yep, that was another reason that made me suspect something wasn't right. I logged in to PP and there were no msgs. What gets me though is PP has always said that if you get an email from them it will always say your name, "Hi Joe Blow" rather than "Hi PP member". Now you can't even trust that so yes, it is best to login to PP and check for msgs or policy changes.

LOL. Maybe he was drunk. At least he ended up where he needed to be, for the safety of everyone in the area.

Oh yeah, I only use a debit card to get cash from the ATM. I also use Quicken for my checking account so I know how much fun money I have, LOL.

Rave, I've tried growing grass here since we moved in. Hundred of bucks down the drain on seed and fertilizer with an abandoned sand pit look as a result. This year I bought a real soil test kit and found out that there is virtually no potassium in the soil. Most lawn fertilizers today don't have potassium for "environmental" reasons. Maybe you should run some soil tests to make sure you have the right soil chemistry to grow the things you want to grow. They're pretty cheap and easy to use or you could try the County Extension Service, probably for free but a lot slower.

I'm curious. Why is potassium omitted for environmental reasons? If lawn fertilizers don't have it, can you get it separately and add it to get the balance you need?

Potassium is deemed responsible for polluting waterways by encouraging algae blooms and killing other plants and small animals partially as a result of the algae bloom dying off. Any fertilizer can also pollute ground water. It does come in "starter" fertilizers normally used to start grass from seed or in fertilizer for vegetable gardens. It seems the biggest sources were deemed to be lawn fertilizers and farm fertilizers though. Of course the removal does not take into account that it may be needed in some, or perhaps, many cases. The soil here is also almost devoid of potash, which again, is available in fairly high percentages in starter fertilizers. I bought a slow release fertilizer, not made by Scotts, in hopes it will do the trick but it will still take application every two months. I'm trying a test area this year and if it works, will expand to the whole lawn next year.

Time to say good night. This evening, I'm dying Easter eggs for the kids. The only kind they know are the plastic ones that come in half and have candy inside. Once again, I didn't tutor today because the boy is still coughing. He went to the doctor yesterday. Bill has it and stayed home from work today. I think I've been fighting it off for a long while now. I hope I continue to fight it off.

Many years ago, back in the early '70s, in fact, I had a Ukrainian friend, and she and I dyed eggs Ukrainian style, with fancy designs made by using a thing with melted beeswax in it, then dying a light color, then drawing more stuff, and dying a darker color. There was a booklet with suggested designs. These eggs are from a collection my mom had, but one of the eggs I dyed, I gave to her. It's the red and yellow one in the middle.

    Really cool eggs Sandy!

Yesterday we went into the woods and found some dogwood trees and dug them up and planted them in the front yard. Now all we can do is hope the root real well and not die. We inserted a pipe next to the trunk so we can water the roots easier till it does take root real good.

The weather was doing great but the last day or two has been downright chilly. 'I want my Spring weather back right now!'I am so tired of the cold, I told Fiance one night that we were moving to Bora Bora or Tahiti!:D

You just have to read the label very carefully before buying, Awsum. I am more than likely using the same product that you are going to use for our veggie garden. What I like is liquid fertilizer since it can make it to all the plants in the yard with very little effort from me. I run it through the drip system using a pressure pot.

    So pretty.

Did it snow at your place SandySu.

I'm a little orried about my Wiseguy show is walking a bit like a drunken sailor although he is eating just fine. Hopefully, he will be okay but I am keeping a close eye on him. I cleaned his feet just to make sure he hadn't stepped on a nail or something. His feet seem okay. I locked Nevada up since he tried to muscle in on Wiseguy when I was getting Wiseguy's halter on.

Can't beat free when it comes to plants, Celt.
