This is how far I've gotten on packing. It's not much but it's a start. I figure I have at least a week before we can hit the road if not longer. I can only do so much each day because I pulled a muscle in my side awhile back and packing is aggravating it. I've been living on Naproxen and it isn't working. :(
Do you label your boxes? That helped me a lot when I moved. I just dumped the boxes in the rooms they went in, and [very slowly] unpacked one room at a time. The boxes were sorted by room, so it was really easy to find stuff, even before I was finished unpacking.

Probably a given, for smart people like you, but you'd be surprised how many people don't, or forget to.

Yes, I labeled each box after learning the hard way. When we unpack, we'll probably be in a hurry to get the truck back so most everything will end up in the living room to be sorted out later. Nobody reads the labels on the boxes.

I need you around here, Rave to get me laughing every day. No wonder Terry is moving halfway across the country!

 That's one of the things I love about you, you always make me laugh.

 Yep, that and she's a walking sedative. Just what I need. LOL! All I can offer is a place to get away when she needs to.

Seriousness is highly-overrated. It has it's place, and I can be serious too. Or, a sedative.  And, no Terry - You've always offered friendship. :)

Looks like you're making great progress. PV's get packed last, right?

Which reminds me-- how is BF doing?

BF is doing just great. In fact, we're going caving this weekend at Squire Boone. :D Can't find a decent cave smiley to save my soul ....

Ah shucks  that's just too easy. ;)

PV will ride in the car behind the truck for easy access. At least the ones that won't be in the cab with me. :D

So much for the quiet weekend at home. LOL! Damn, I wish I could go. I love caving.

Yay, Terry!!!!!! I am so excited for you!

Hi Y'all! Still clearing the yard. The work is going faster now that the lawnmower works again. The lawnmower still won't get the kudzu and random assortment of crappy weeds. We are also cutting down trees mainly baby pines (Must do it to keep the other trees alive) and a couple pesky locust trees. The thorns on those things are 2-4 inches long. Geesh this is taking the whole spring and summer but to be fair most of this stuff hadn't been cut since before Fiance's family moved here.

I believe that sheep love kudzu. Maybe a couple of hair sheep will be in your future?

Heck yeah and more. I only have one acre, Terry, but the yard work never ends. I'm waiting for the cool weather and then I have to clear the jungle that is taking over the garage and lilac bushes have to be trimmed. Then comes the leaf raking at the beginning of November. It's a good thing that I have a lawn tractor and a trailer, to put the leaves in and take them down to the woods (my woods) to dump it. Six or seven trips should do it. Then I can take it easy, until the snow flies.
