OOH! Where's it gonna go? Inquiring minds want to know. :D

I taught myself to program in Basic, and then decided to go deeper with assembly language / machine code. But C Language ended up being my bread and butter back in the day.

It's trying to tell you to sllllooooooooow down! This is a relaxed state. Well, at least this part of it. Probably why everyone down here is so broke!

Yesterday I was tooling around your neck of the woods in town with my BF. I commented on the fact that the trees in town still have some really pretty color. He said, and I quote: "Them's town trees. They don't know no better." But the way, he may talk like a backwoods Hoosier, but he's an educated man. Just sayin'.

Ah! Just to make everyone grin:

Rave, that video did make me grin.

Ah before i forget.
Here is something before recording was invented.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bHLnBdM8Mo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOFy8QkNWWs This one is one of the best and funniest.

Wow! That's amazing! I was impressed when I was a kid, and the lady across the street where we stayed at the shore would leave her parrot in its cage out on the front porch, and it heard and mimicked the sounds of children playing in the neighborhood, laughing and crying, etc. Then when we lived in California, there was a mockingbird in the yard that started mimicking the sound of my phone ringing. At first, I'd think it was really my phone and run into the house to answer it, but then it dawned on me that it was a bird. I called it the "phone bird."

But those have a poor showing compared to the sounds that lyrebird made. Quite impressive.

I just want to says thanks to all the Vets out there for what you did for US and to all the current service members for what you do.

Celt, what kind of computer? I have a bunch of stuff hanging around that is due to get recycled. I may have a power supply in one of them that will work for you if you feel up to replacing a power supply yourself.

Trit, while you were deciding about "broad," I was looking up "runcible spoon." Edward Lear coined the word "runcible" and didn't assign it any meaning, since it can refer to other things than an eating utensil, but I think commonly, it's what's also known as a spork.

BTW, here's a good demo of the word "broad." It's a song from the musical South Pacific.

Broadband - As applied to antennas - capable of being moderately efficient over a relatively large frequency range, as in about 3-5 percent. Higher gain levels are only available with narrow band or specific frequency antennas.

Broadband - As applied to transmission mediums, such as cable - Cover a very broad range of frequencies, typically from 1mhz to as high as several ghz, or even higher in the case of fiber optic cable, on the same cable. This allows for multiple "wide" channels like those needed for video broadcast on a single cable.

Broad - In the vernacular - The fairer sex, especially with a curvaceous figure.
