Sitting down, facing forward.
Hey Terry, if you need kindling I have a lot of nice, dry, stuff hanging around from storms and taking a few trees down. Jus pay the freight and I can give you a few years supply :)

I used to reload, too. Pistol, rifle and shotgun. I had a progressive loader for the shotgun which was handy since I was skeet shooting back then. It was really cheap to do back in the 80's. My, how prices have changed!

I think I have enough kindling to last me a lifetime and with all those dead poplars I probably won't have to buy firewood next year but I'll have to hire someone to cut them down so I don't know which is cheaper. Some are close to the house so they will have to come down soon but thanks anyway. :D

I had two rifles that I used for target practice and that's what I reloaded for. I also had a few shotguns, I didn't reload for them, I only used them for hunting ( yeah, I know, I was a bad boy, I used to hunt small game. Go ahead beat me up, I deserve it.) My two pistols were replica .44 cal cap and ball pistols. I "reloaded" them at the range. LOL

Holy crap! The forecast for the next 7 days is in the 30's during the day and the teens at night with a chance of snow on Sunday. I thought it was still Fall. This sounds more like Washington's winter. I can't wait for the snow though. :D

Let's all just hope we don't get another winter like last year! I'm not sure how much different 'winter' is where you are Rave are, but this is just the start, trust me!

There's only one positive thing I can think of about snow, after you get past the "oh, it looks so pretty" stage. As long as you do your shopping early in the season!

Well, it's pretty much a new experience for you, Terry. I don't know how quickly it melts in Indiana, but over here, it can last the whole winter. My Mustang isn't good in snow, so it gets garaged, when the snow starts falling.

I hear it only lasts a few days here. It could get old fast if it lasted all winter.

Then new snow falls on the old snow and you are no longer shoveling nice little paths, you are digging trenches.

It's not all that new to me. I lived in Colorado for 5 yrs and 1 year we had a blizzard that left 4' hard packed drifts. I could walk over the fences. I dug a 3' path to my trash barrel. I have a pic of my cat sniffing the wall of snow. Too cute. LOL!
