Good afternoon Voltville. I was working on some plumbing issues yesterday morning when my Bride's pulmonary Dr. called and told her to go to the hospital and get labs done for a lung biopsy today at 10:00. Talk about fast track. We knew there was going to be one sometime but 24 hrs notice? Freakin wow.

wow, that is so frustrating! Wishing your bride good luck on her tests.

Good morning Voltpeeps.

No puppies yet. I messaged the lady and told her "Tell Whiskey, no pressure, but I am so ready for her to have her babies so I can see the puppies."

Wiseguy did good driving yesterday but I had a rough day as I didn't get enough sleep for a couple of days in a row! Still, I managed to get the cart hooked up properly and we got on the road. Poor little guy had a bit of a time getting up on the "hump" at the edge of the paved road since he was pulling a cart with two people in it.

I went by the horse, four horned sheep and lamas again. Wiseguy wanted to look so I let him but then he decided he was going over there to talk to them. "Whoa!" I talked him into backing up and then making a turn back onto the roadway. Little goober.

We're home. Didn't have any time to post after they came and got me. No good news. This Dr. tells me stuff off the record and knows what he's talking about having seen so much of it. The cancer is definitely back and causing problems. Now we have to wait for the biopsy to formally come back and a followup with Oncology before we know anything else. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. They mean a lot to me.

I went to the parent/teachers meeting with the new girl and her mom today. She has gone up a whole grade level in reading since I started tutoring her! I had guessed as much, but they have letters for the different levels within a grade, and even the 2 teachers -- her main teacher and her ESL teacher -- didn't believe it till they wrote out all those levels and saw where she had started in the fall and where she is now. Without really understanding what those letters mean, I had an accurate sense of where she is and where she had been. She is really smart and has an excellent memory, but at school, like with me, she is very distractible. I think it's because her mind is working a million miles a minute, and she has trouble slowing down and taking things a step at a time. She is also very chatty and apparently distracts the other kids when they should be working. I've seen this, too. I do think she's getting better about focus, though. It's not the astronomical leaps forward that her reading took, but she is slowly improving. So I didn't really learn anything new from the teachers, but maybe they found out some things from me. And her mom, whose English isn't very good, was glad I was along to communicate with the teachers.
