Awsum, where does the word "honeymoon" come from? I didn't cheat and look it up, so you must tell us.
Everything is looking good! You guys are doing a wonderful job! Cash is just cute as a button! He would be my lap buddy!<a href="http://s1364.photobucket.com/user/renolizzie/media/2016/DSCF2081_zpsftj9r03g.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r738/renolizzie/2016/DSCF2081_zpsftj9r03g.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSCF2081_zpsftj9r03g.jpg"/></a>

Cash likes to check up on me and see how I am doing periodically before he runs off to find something else to keep himself busy.

Working hard at my step platforms.
Dang it! I knew that... and completely forgot it!'moanin, and Happy 4th of July Voltaticalytes and lurkers. It's a good time to think about where this nation came from and the sacrifices and intentions of those that started it. On the other hand, celebrating the 4th does combine two of Americas favorite things, alcohol and explosives.
We were supposed to have a really nice day, but the prognosticators guessed wrong. It's overcast and humid this morning and there are showers down in Cape May. Oh well, weather is an exact science, so they imply. I hope it doesn't rain. We need to change the netting on the blueberry enclosure, chased a squirrel out of there yesterday, and we're scheduled for steak and tails on the grill tonight.
Lizzie, you're making me think, seriously, about getting a deck project going here. We could use one on the front of the house and I keep putting it off. You guys are doing a really nice job there!
Does everyone know what mead is? Mead is probably the oldest alcoholic beverage known to man, predating wine (sorry wine fans). Remember Beowulf, a lot was consumed in that one and it appears in even older literature. It's made by fermenting honey with water, and sometimes can have added spices, fruits and flavorings including hops. Yeast is the active fermenting agent and the alcohol content is usually around 20% or so.
The term "honeymoon" stems from the custom of the happy couple drinking mead every day for a lunar cycle after getting married, or probably some sort of joining ceremony back then, to celebrate(?) the event. Hence the term "honeymoon". I suspect it was more to make the participants, errr, ahh, maybe more "cooperative" and relaxed.

I'm too young to have CRS.... but I do....
