Good Morning Voltville!

I've got plenty of Cinnamon Streusel coffee available but I'm outta muchies unless you want yogurt. I guess a shopping trip is in order. But ............... that involves going into town. *sigh*

Deb - You make me smile.

Observation: It's probably NOT wise to lay a syringe-loaded auto-injector on the desk right next to a PV. That coulda been bad. Just sayin'.

now im trying to embed videos..pulling my hair out..:grr::grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

Go to YouTube and get on the page where your video is. Copy the URL up at the top. The URL is the Internet address. Go back to the forum page, click on Go Advanced, click on the little image that looks like film (or maybe it looks like a blue washboard), and a box will appear with a place you paste the URL. Paste the URL there and click OK, and it appears in your message. An easier way is to just copy the URL and paste it in your message, but then it just shows up as a link, not a box with the video in it. Still, people can click on the link as easily as they can click on the box.

This is where you'll need to copy and paste. It's really easy, though, and I have faith you can do it if you just know which keys to press. And how to highlight (or select) something -- like the URL. Maybe Wabbit will tell you how to do that. I know you can do it. You just have to be brave.

Good morning, Votatics! My name is awsum and I'm a vapaholic, too! I don't worry about running out of batteries though, I just got a new charger and four more 18650s, LOL. Coffee is on, Bo is walked and fed and munchies will follow in a bit.

Semi slow day for me today. Waiting for the oil burner service guy to come and service the oil burner. I know how to change the nozzle, ceramic filter and cartridge filter as well as how to clean the heat exchanger and flue. That's a mess and kills vacuum cleaners plus you end up smelling like diesel oil for days afterward, so let the pros do it instead.

After that I'm going to pull out whatever is left in the garden and put away the drip system for the winter, well most of the drip system anyway. I do have a section that's underground that goes from the actual garden to the "cage" for the blueberry bushes. Since it's underground that has to stay for the winter. I do blow it out with compressed air just to make sure it doesn't freeze and rupture when the ground freezes. It only takes a minute with the little portable compressor so it's well worth the effort.

Deb, posting a video is no different than posting a photo. If you look at the "post quick reply" menu area, the third icon from the right looks like a piece of film. Click on that, then use copy and paste to put the video into that dialog box and you're good to go.

Don't you have to use Go Advanced? That's how I do it.

Worse thing I've managed to do, so far, is repeatedly vape the stylus for my tablet. Talk about hard draw and dry hit! Be careful with syringes, Rave.

I am generally more careful. It's just that the auto-injector for the Copaxone that I shoot up with every morning is just about the size of my Vamo. I actually picked it up and started it toward my mouth!

Good Morning everyone. I was up earlier, but was browsing Facebook, just a computer junkie also in addition to vaping. Now that Debra has FINALLY learned how to post pictures, we may get to see more of Australia. Eons ago I located her street on Google Earth, and it is a beautiful area, evidently HOT in the summer however. Typical retirement day for me, nothing really exciting going on.

Awsum, you need to get rid of that Oil Furnace. If you have the room on your property, and some extra cash, a geothermal system should pay for itself in about 5 to 8 years, provided you can still get the government subsidy on your taxes and perhaps a state grant like I did. My oil bill was running about $3,800.00 per year and that was eliminated. My electric bill only went up about $30.00 per month, so my annual savings are about $3,440.00 per year. The cooling portion of the system is absolutely the best. The heat however takes some adjustment in order to get accustomed to. Not the blast of hot air like oil heat, but just a constant warmth. Just sayin.

As always, waiting for some vape mail from Wizard Labs. I think they forgot to combine my last two orders (ordered on same day and requested that they combine the two).

Lurking as usual

My hubby is such a chicken and won't give it to himself so I've got to do it for him. He's such a baby!

Good morning and happy Friday Volties! My name is JoAnn and I'm a vapaholic too... love it! :)

Another warm sunny day here but we desperately need some rain. Everything is drying up and the leaves seem to be slowly changing so not as pretty as last year.

Sandy, your pictures are beautiful as usual and looking forward to some more great fall shots. Love the deer. :)

Wabbit, we're CHEAP! So far we haven't spent more than $800 on oil for a season. The thermostats are automatic setback and only run the heat for 04:00 until 08:00 and then again from 17:00 until 21:00. The outside walls are 2X6 and all the windows are double glazed, 3/4". The attic has about a foot and a half of "blow-in" insulation and this place is "tight", ears pop when everything is closed and the outside door opens. It would take us far too long to recoup the costs of a geothermal system. Our big "expense", energy and money, is electricity for the hot water which is why I'm fooling with a solar system, but even there doing it myself, it'll take five years or so to recoup the costs, unless it also can supply auxiliary heat for the house itself which it should be able to do.

Lots of vapaholics around these here parts. We all need this group therapy.

Awsum, If your figures are correct geothermal is not for you guy. My old system utilized a boiler which also provided constant hot water, so that "Might" have contributed to the high oil usage. My home "seems" to be well sealed and insulated. When they did the tests for geothermal, they closed up everything in the house and put a vacuum seal around the front door which sucked air out of the house. Their meters showed very little leakage. I do have 36 year old single pane wooden windows with additional storm windows over them (still in good shape) which if replaced with double pane would probably save in heat leakage costs, but if it ain't broke I usually don't fix it. The cost of oil never bothered me when I also had a wood stove, but once I stopped burning wood, the oil costs went up a lot, and when the oil boiler finally went up, I decided to look into geothermal.

By the way, many thanks again for recommending that juice calculator. I love being able to store all of my mix calculations and juice inventory as well as play with various blends and flavor combinations.

Later Folks

I've checked around the windows, ceiling fixtures and outlets on the outside walls on the coldest days with an infrared thermometer and things seems pretty well sealed and insulated. We can't get our electric bill under $200 per month, our hot water is electric in the summer but is augmented by the oil furnace when it is running in the winter. I'm hoping to save $50 or more per month, year around, with the solar water heater, but only time will tell.

Sandy, just look at the menu bar in "quick reply" and you'll see the icon for photos and videos. It may take you into "advanced" mode eventually, but it's available from the tread page.
