Deb, I found instructions for copy and paste on YouTube. I think this will help you learn to do it. It's almost like having someone stand over you helping you. Of course, if you're watching the video, it'll be hard to do the stuff as he says to unless you have 2 computers. What I do in a situation like this is listen to it, take notes of what I need to remember, and then go try to do it.

Don't be afraid of doing it wrong. If you get stuck somehow, you can always just shut your computer off and then turn it on again and start over. I bet you can get it right the first time and will be as thrilled as you are at putting photos into messages. I have faith in you.

I have reached that age where my brain went from saying "You probably shouldn't do that" TO What the Hell let's see what happens"

Bill O'Riley (The Factor TV Show) introduced a new segment called "Mad as Hell" where he picks email from viewers who are just fed up and Mad as Hell about something. Well I ran my rant by Awsum and he agreed that it was appropriate, so here is what I emailed to Bill O'Riley:

I smoked for 50 years and finally electronic cigarettes (vaping) got me off of ALL tobacco and nicotine, using just glycerin and flavoring. My Doctor lists me as non-smoking, yet the FDA wants to ban electronic cigarettes, The Affordable Care Act lists e-cigarette users as smokers requiring increased insurance premiums, and if you want to use these devices you must go to designated smoking areas. Electronic Cigarettes produce no smoke, only water vapor, do not smell, have no tobacco in them and approximately 4000 less chemicals than regular cigarettes. I am mad as hell that so much misinformation is being disseminated about a product that is literally saving thousands of lives.

(My real name here)
Maryland

(If used on air, please do not use my last name)

In the segment, Bill discusses the email with Julia Huddy, so I just hope it may be read on the Factor and have some realistic discussion of e-cigarette use.

I don't think her problem so much is with cut & paste. I've used the new Internet Explorer at the library, and it's confusing as hell now. Hard to find stuff, like the URL bar, before you can even copy it. And everywhere you go, the layout is different, so it's hard to even talk someone through stuff. Like sometimes it's hidden, sometimes it's at the top, sometimes it's at the bottom...

Twilight Zone

Ya sure are a Cutie.

Good night all,
Just wanted to let you know my mom's fever broke tonight after finally getting the doc to prescribe something for the fever. She thinks she got (chemical) pneumonia from spraying herbicide on sunday. She is feeling lots better now. she actually had the strength to stay up a little later than usual tonight but still went to bed early... so i'm a lot happier knowing she's so much better now.

Sleep well:sleep::sleep::sleep:

Sure glad to hear she's doing well. I'll bet you do sleep better.

Sitting down, facing forward.
The oil burner guy came and did his thing so we're all set for this heating season. When he got done we ended up in a BS session about reloading ammunition, he's a trap shooter. As part of that service, the oil burner ran for quite a while so the hot water portion as well as the heating portion both came up to full temperature. The water heater portion is a key factor.

I walked Bo and had lunch along with a conversation on Skype with Konstantine. After that, I set up dinner and then went down in the basement to fool with CD welding. As soon as I got down there I heard a heavy dripping sound and there was a leak at the valve controlling the water coming from the furnace to the water heater. Apparently, there was a weak point in that joint and the really hot water coming off the furnace, as I did some dishes, was enough to make it leak. Had to partially drain the system down so I could re-solder that joint, and I was very careful to get enough heat in the right place and enough solder to seal things. No more leak, but I never did get out to the garden.

Oh yeah, the CD welding is testing out how to weld "zero resistance" wire to Kanthal wire for coil rebuilding. It's actually easy to do so now I need to get some "zero resistance" wire.

I don't know, one out of over one hundred joints, so far in this little project, isn't too bad. I'm just glad I was able to fix it without having to take the whole manifold assembly out.

The CD welding is an experiment to see if I can CD weld "zero resistance" wire to Kanthal. I was successful with a quick test but it needs more "refinement" plus I need to get some 32ga "zero resistance" wire, either nickel or copper. I have to admit that it's easier to do than I expected.

Didn't I warn you about plumbing! It is the work of the plumbing goblins
Me ex could tear down a car into its smallest components, and put it back together twenty times better. When confronted with plumbing, however, he is the one that would go to pieces.
