Just got home from frying oyster fritters all morning, watching the VT vs UNC football game and Virginia Tech wins again 27 to 17. Mrs. Wabbit just made some brownies for the homeowners crab feast and we are OUTTA HERE! This is a sea food Saturday, fried oyster fritters in the AM, Steamed Crabs all afternoon with Coors Light. I will sleep well tonight.

I've had one of those sitting in my cart for sooo long (the gold one). Right next to the gold/pyrex protanks. I've been wanting a gold setup for a really long time. The only thing that worries me about the batt is that the finish might look like those cheapo gold doorknobs that I keep having to replace because they're so ugly, so I'm kinda trying to wait and see what else they come up with (seems like a new clone every week ).

I looked at the Chi-You also JoAnn & Cindy, but went for the TVS instead. It is beyond shiny! And, I hope that the finish lasts a good long time. Fingers crossed.

I just came back in from tooling around my forest with the lumber man in his ATV. He has 80+ trees marked, and wanted to justify their demise with me. Truth be told: I was almost in tears, but there is no sense at all in letting them go to waste.

So he is harvesting the trees for you, and you will even make some money off of it?

Sorry about your trees Rave. That's a lot to loose at one time.

Those mods look so good but I'm hesitant about getting one. I need a little more confidence before I delve into them. You really have to know what you are doing as far as battery safety. I guess I'm just a wimp.

I got a little Kamry eCab with the gold finish, I've been using it since the beginning of August, it's holding up so far. I was looking at the stainless clone though because of the air control thingy.

My Kamry is a little bit paler than 'doorknob gold', a softer gold color, but not far off.

I stayed off of my foot most of the day, except for a bit of shopping in the morning. It was aching, so I put some heat on it, and propped it up on the coffee table. I don't think I will need the brace anymore-- it forces me to use other muscles, and that soreness is worse than the original sprain, so I think it is mostly healed now, except for the bruising. I dread the next time. Once sprained, always vulnerable.

I took a walk again this evening with my camera. I'm glad I got back before it started to rain, which it's doing now. Actually, I had plenty of time, because after the walk, I ate dinner, and it started raining after I had eaten. I saw more deer this evening, this time a larger group.

Rave, I am sorry for the loss of your trees, I know how you feel, we had some neighbors who decided to burn trash and ended up setting our woods and yard on fire... needless to say there was considerable tree damage... i was terribly saddened but two years later you can barely see the damage.

Deb, if your out there, still wishing a speedy recovery to your precious kitty.
