Just pull the mouth pieces, so they don't warp. The filler and carto body have no problem with hot water. I don't bother keeping the heat on, though if you did, keep it at less than boiling. I leave some space in whatever I'm cleaning them in, so I can top it off with cold water before pulling them out, to not get burned. After removing, blow through them -- if the resulting cartos look/smell OK, you're set to dry them, else repeat the boil/soak. End of the day, I probably have about 80% good for reuse after one cleaning cycle. At least 808 cartos are pretty cheap, so I don't sweat pitching them out if they don't come out good; I also just put a little juice in a cleaned carto on first use, to make sure they're indeed OK -- it bites to do a full fill only to find out the carto is dead/bad.

I plan to do this:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/69499-clean-cartomizers-quick-easy-lol.html

Is there a reason you want to boil them? Like to sterilize them or something?

I boil them to try to get out some of the gunk and to sterilize them. On the really smelly ones, I add in a vodka soak too.

I'm sure that steam attachment would work though. I just like to set it and forget it when it comes to cleaning these things. Put in pot, set timer, come back in 15 minutes. Put pot in sink, rinse, and blow them out. Put back in pot, set timer, come back in 15 minutes. Put in pot in sink, rinse, and blow them out. Set on paper towel with the battery side up. Done.

I need 3 different sizes. DH & son1 wear the same size. I'm between son2 and son3.

I'm thinking I like your idea though. Maybe I need to start building up my sock stockpile.

Apparently the "new" style is black short socks (not ankle or no show) with everything - shorts, tennies, slides...yah, son1 better get a job soon! Though he's applied everywhere God bless him!
I try and keep us in the same sort of socks, but everytime I go to buy more, they've changed them somehow. Besides, I don't think I'm capable of throwing out socks before there are visible holes... I still have socks I stole from my Dad back in HS... LOL!

Tim and I can wear the same socks. I have pretty big feet, I wear a 10-11 in women's and a 9.5 in men's (which I usually get since I need a D width and have a hard time finding in women's sizes) And my 9yo son is on the cusp of crossing into men's shoes. Pretty soon it will be 3 of us in the same size sock and then the lil misses teeny socks!

I could almost swap shoes with you. Well, except that I have really, really narrow feet and high arches so I end up needing narrow shoes and settling for medium width.
