Christian Tracts are great tools for witnessing. Some people can just up and ask a stranger if they have ever asked Jesus into their hearts, accepting Him as their personal Lord and Saviour. That is not my style. I do what I would like to have done to me. I don't like people cramming anything down my throat. My mom was great with that style on me, but not to a stranger. That is where tracts come in handy. You can leave them in bathrooms, grocery stores on the shelves, restaurants along with your tips, inside bills, etc. Be creative!

If you would like to try this type of witnessing, you can look it up online. I like using: The Tract League, 2627 Elmiridge Drive, N.W., Grand Rapids, MI 40534-1329 TELE: 616-453-7695 or The Tract League. They have been publishing tracts since 1922 and is also known as Faith, Prayer & Tract League. They are the MOST reasonable of all....like $1.50 per dozen. You can also get sample packages with different messages. They are a wonderful company!

Ah, New Orleans. Such a decadent city, but Christianity is alive and well there as well. There is a seminary college there and people witnessing on Bourbon street. There are many wonderful places to go and see, like the zoo or antiquing. It was the first time I'd ever seen a white bengal tiger with beautiful blue eyes....gorgeous animal. However, I wouldn't recommend going in summer. Hot doesn't even begin to describe it! Imagine my shock when my husband and I got into a cab and the permit number was #666. As God as my witness, that is a true story. The driver was an Arab, and drove like a mad man. I couldn't wait to get out of it! We didn't go down there often, and the last time we went, it was to a Saints vs Rams play-off game back in January 2001. We are huge Saints fans, but watch games on tv, now. If you are ever there, be careful as there are pickpockets everywhere. Men, carry your wallets in a front pocket. Ladies, don't take your purses out anywhere in the Quarter. I love the french market. Now voodoo is underlying. You can even buy a voodoo doll in the Quarter at souvenior stores. Totally unbelievable! I was shocked...yet again! But, the pralines were delicious. It's all in what you're looking for, I suppose.
