my babies mean the world to me. While they may not be blood to me, they are still mine and I love them all so very much. I love seeing their faces at Christmas when they open their presents and have to hug everyone after every present.

Da South!
One of the best parts of Xmas is this..that wonderful anticipation! Is it going to be the official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, Range Model air rifle with a compass on the stock and this thing which tells time or the deranged Easter bunny pajamas? Lol...and seeing the kids eyes when they see their dreams come true.

When I was little, we went to my Grandma's every year for Christmas. Me and my brother slept in Grandma's room with her, so that Santa (aka our parents) could do his thing without fear of discovery. lol

One of the most magical parts was always around 3 or 4 am, when we would start waking up nearly every hour, just waiting for Christmas morning to be there. Grandma lives out in the country, so you can tell when the first crack of dawn is. Trust me, as soon as we saw the slightest bit of light we were hounding poor Grandma to get up and go have Christmas!!

Well I gotta say something about my dogs.....as usual. They are three boys...Ziggy, Mugsy and Augie. I think they enjoy Christmas as much as the kids....well they are our kids.:p They know what the word "present" means, let me tell you! :D
They each have their own personal ornaments on the tree...even got their names on em. They love to tear open their presents...sometimes need a little help...except for Mugsy. He is the instigator of opening presents early. Anyway they keep hubby and me entertained so it makes it all a lot of fun and worthwhile at Christmas. Every year hubby says he can't believe he is standing in a mile long line just to buy Christmas presents for dogs. Well, it's his idea! :D

I want to say MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you all. Have a safe and joyous one.

Below is Mugsy in his Santa hat.
