I was just wondering how you could downgrade the chuck for needing adapters to use different atties. Isn't that true of all mods? I mean the atties all have their own unique threads. Would you consider it more versatile if Jeff threw in adapters and upped the price?
Jeff now sells adapters:thumb:

Whoa, thought I was watching Speed tv for a sec :D Nice vid! One thing though - I own two Chucks, bought the first one in September, and I've yet to feel any seizing on my caps - in fact, they seem to thread better over time.

I agree. I've had my Chuck for months, and this is not an issue. Noalox is not necessary.

Good review, though.

I think he mentioned the issue with seizing was if sand got in the threads. So better save then sorry. Get Review and indeed the Chuck is the best unit I ever bought.

Nice review. I have to agree with the previous poster about adapters: I don't know of a single mod on the market that can handle 510/801/901 etc without them. I wouldn't take off points for that...

As far as no pass-thru: When you can vape for several days at 3.7v on one battery who needs a pass-through? :p

you're right. After i said that i wished i hadn't. Thats a problem when you work without a script. Thats my bad and i'm sorry it happened. Its all part of the learning process.

I agree....as i said to the other poster; thats what happens when you work with no scirpt. Sometimes stupid stuff comes out of your mouth. It was more of a brain fart on my part.

Nice review, although I'm not sure if the Noalox is a good idea. Any type of substance on the threads will have a tendency to hold onto dirt or sand. My suggestion would be to use your sense of feel when screwing the end cap on. If it seems gritty, stop and inspect. There's probably an extremly small chance of the threads getting buggered up anyway.
Use extra caution while at the beach.

Agreed. I work in an environment with a lot of aluminum drill shavings and one found its way in my threads. A q-tip with some IPA solved the problem instantly. I understand the intention behind the Noalox recommendation though, and it's a good thread protectant and lube if you primarily use your Chuck in a relatively clean environment.
