Chuck issues. Have to shake it.

Got my Chuck back a few weeks ago from being fixed and it's been great. However, these past few days I have to shake it, or massage the button in circles to get it to work. Same batteries, same atty's... I haven't dropped it either.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

yeah, he buys switches in bulk and tests each unit before sending but if it had some weary internal issue, he wouldnt have noticed it on a short test period. May have to have that sucker replaced again.....

Well crap. I hate to send it out again... But I suppose I have too. Was actually thinking about hooking up an arcade button to it on the bottom, but it's too big.

i have sent my 3 back twice now...
switch problems misfiring ...and short circuits.

Jeff has done a great job of fixing them, but i need to understand what is going on.

I vape at 8 volts (2 x 3.7v ultrafire XSL18350 1200mAH)
801 atty @ 5.5 ohms

How long does it take for a brand new chuck to start misfiring?

And also what causes it to misfire? Is the switch Mechanical or Electronic?

I've had my first one for 6 months and my second one for 2 months. No problems with either of them and they both get used A LOT. Jeff would have to answer what causes them to malfunction. The switch is mechanical.

That's encouraging to know. I see a lot of posts about switch issues (seems to be the ONLY problem so far) and it worried me a little. But with all the problems I've had with my other PV's it's amazing to me that a lot of us reccomend the cig sized for beginners (I guess it's just about price and simplicity in the beginning)
Thank god it's a mechanical switch though. I've about had enough of the electronic switches with the cig-sized PV's. This will not be my first mod but it will be my most cherished and personal mod by far
