CHUCK USERS: expecting my chuck real soon - any tips / tricks? advice?

I'm guessing that my chuck is going to be here in the next day or two (SO EXCITED!)

Are there any things that would be good to know before I fire it up? I don't feel like frying it out, or breaking a switch, or popping an atty over some stupid user error...

Just checking...?


EDIT: I JUST CHECKED THE TRACKING NUMBER! IT LEFT MY LOCAL MAIL FACILITY THIS MORNING AND IS ON THE WAY TO MY HOUSE TODAY!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!

Mine can pop 510 attys at 6 Volts. Thats the only thing I'd mention. Do you have both 3.7 and 6 V battery configurations? batteries charged up? Thats about it! Enjoy!

Came today Jan, 6th.

And im guessing that was lagged a little due to christmas and the new year, and im guessing a couple hung over mornings lol

Still, the time came and went, and yes like everyone else says, you just gotta wait and pay your dues...

However I was pretty picky on the customization. I would like to think he is taking his time to get it exactly right

That's a long time to wait. Did you contact Jeff to check on it? I ordered mine on Dec. 29 and I'm hoping I get it next week some time.

Hey Houdini, same here! The final component came today and my delivery room is now complete. Just waiting the pr0n to show now.....

You can get non-rechargeable 3v batteries that will fit the Chuck. When they die you throw them away.

Yep, I got my batteries and charger a couple days ago. I ordered the Chuck with an 801 connector and I have at least 10 801 attys hanging around here. Plus, I got an 801/510 adapter and a few 510 attys. And, I made my own 401/510 adapter and I got at least 10 401 attys so as soon as the Chuck gets here I think I'll be set for a while.

Im going to be running strickly 510.. I hope I dont have any problems...

Iv never tried 801, or 901, or any other for that matter...

"I've been working on the art.... trying to get all of it on there and looking right. Not much longer!"

That was 14 days ago.

Wow. What are you having put on it? Send the art files to me and I'll put one together for you in 10 minutes. (in photoshop of course)

I just went with the 510 since I have about 150 510 attys...............I have ordered 25 cartos from HG. I will be curious to see how they work compared to the 510.........

You got a pretty good supply of 510's. I have 2 or 3 but never really like the 510 that much. I guess I gave up on them when the batteries started to only last a half hour. I only have 6 801 attys. I've been using the same one for 3 months now on a VAPRE 51. Never burned one out. My main vape are that and 401 Dragons. I'm guessing with the Chuck I'll have to invest in a good supply of attys. Hope I don't burn to many out before I get the hang of it.
