I want to get another more modern type as I am having to send overseas for the 1.5 ohm coils I need.

Congratulations, Maria! What an achievement! :toast:

More modern setup that's user friendly? Another vote for the Zenith tank. I have the 24 mm diameter, ~4 ml capacity Zenith and I love it! I prefer the higher resistance coils that come with it, either the 1.3Ω or the 0.8Ω. The .5 Ω coil is not as good and I've seen a lot of complaints about its performance, so I can't recommend it.

There is also a 22 mm diameter (2 ml) Zenith (that would fit perfectly on your iStick--I have an old iStick 30 and I love it to pieces--the thing just works).

And then there the newest Zenith in the lineup--the Zlide, but it's brand new and the reviews are sparse (also 22 mm). Innokin Zlide MTL Tank Kit

Welcome to the ECF community. Congratulations on quitting. Think you will be happy with the Kroma / Zenith set up. Worth the extra 3.00 to get the kit with the 24mm zenith, the extra capacity will come in handy on those days your hands are particularly achy.

Am going to go with your recommendation. Thanks for your help.

Heey Texreid I have copd too. Welcome to the friendly bunch. After smoking for 36 years it was the only thing that worked for me also....my doctors are totally ok with it...''as long as you never ever smoke again'' they said :)

Another kit that is very user friendly is the Geekvape Flint....i've no direct experience but it's certainly well thought of here. Maybe an option for your back up mod...most of us have at least 2 if not more :) You certainly need at least 2...think about what you'd have to do if one stopped working

Keep it up and best of luck to you :D

Thanks, I have my Gladius X that I've been using for the past six months, which I love so that'll be my back up. Cheers

Hi, I could not have stopped smoking without the e.cig. I tried everything possible but they made me sick. I have been smoke free now for six months and know I will not start again as long as I have my e.cig. I have emphasema and it's too late for me but with the e.cig I'm quite happy. I have been using the Gladius X and I love it. I want to get another more modern type as I am having to send overseas for the 1.5 ohm coils I need. Am 72 yy with arthritis so a unit that is easy to fill etcetera and not too pricey would be great. I welcome your suggestions. Many thanks. Maria

It's an Eleaf IStick, sorry am away with the fairies sometimes but I think I'll get the full kit as it would be good to have another battery
Hello and welcome to ECF. Congratulations on switching to vaping. I have to echo what others have said about getting a second device. When I first started out it was recommended that I purchase a back-up system. I now have back-ups for my back-ups.
If you get a chance, I would like to ask you to stop by at another thread on ECF.
