I use a cinnamon flavoring to enhance other flavors that I own, so I don't use a lot. My wife does the same thing on a more frequent basis. Her Apollo Valiant has stopped working. The battery is dead. Won't charge at all, it is DEAD. According to Apollo, using cinnamon e-juice voids the warranty. The cinnamon we use was bought from Apollo. Why do they not give a disclaimer when selling this flavor that it will void the warranty? Anyone else have any issues with using cinnamon flavors?

Cinnamon flavouring is a well know 'tank cracker' in that it destroys plastic (polycarbonate) tanks on disposable clearomisers. Crazy they don't warn people! Having said that, not obvious how that can screw the battery unless your cart is leaking juice all over the connector..

Welcome to ecf! ^^^^^ +1. ^^^^^ I did lose a poly tank due to cinnamon, which is why I now use borosilicate (Pyrex). Never a battery, though ...

ETA: the Protank 2 isn't polycarbonate; it's glass. Did you buy the setup at a B&M? If so, I'd pop back in and ask for an exchange ...

I find it odd as well. Could be that it is just a faulty battery, but the warranty clearly states that cinnamon will void the warranty. I still nees to contact them, they open at 10:00 AM. This issue started yesterday afternoon. Only use the supplied USB charging cable, always keep the contacts clean when changing out the tanks or refilling. I have no idea what would have caused the issue. It's worked great until now. It's about 3 months old.

3 months?? thats about right for a starter kit.... the wifey went thru 4-5 ego type batteries in a year... they just quit, died, stopped taking a charge....
get on Fasttech.com and get yourself an SVD ( authentic) for around 37$ ( you will need a charger and 18650 batteries tho) but it will last you more than 18 months for sure
