Ive been looking over which one of these to buy and want to see if there are any actual differences in the specs. They both hold about the same: 1 charging battery and 2 cartomizers. Although the slider can probably hold 2 batteries. I only take 2 batteries and 3 carts with me anyway so its perfect for me.
Each has a slight technical advantage:
The clamshell design has its own usb chord attached for easy computer charging in case it dies (im out of the house for more than a day sometimes) -no carrying an extra chord.
The slider design has a dual battery life monitor lcd screen for both the life of the 808 battery and the charger battery.
I am wondering if they both use and charge with the same battery power and how long each will last. Has anyone seen a comparison on these two PCCs? Ive seen a closeup of the clamshell PCC and it says it outputs 200mA at 4.2 volts. I use the medium not short or long 808 batteries so it should do ok with a couple charges but does anyone know about the output power compared to the slider version? Are they the same?
As far as looks, the slider is futuristic and cool, but not as classy as the clamshell. I cant decide! Help!
